Paul R. Francois allegedly took $400,000 from two NY "fiancés"
FORT LAUDERDALE – A 55-year-old man was arrested for conning two New York women out of $400,000. He was reportedly engaged to both women at the same time. Paul R. Francois was booked into the Broward county jail on one count of first-degree theft and one of organized scheme to defraud.
Authorities say that when the women asked Francois about the money they had given him he assaulted one and threatened to kill the other one.
